Leaving No One Behind (LNOB), is the slogan of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that distinguishes it from its predecessors, namely the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), by placing a human rights approach into a new commitment as the promotion and protection of human rights. The promotion and protection of human rights in the 2030 Agenda explicitly refers to the universal declaration of human rights and international human rights agreements1, and seeks to leave no one behind and place the importance of equality and non-discrimination.
